Miller and I (officially) became parents over the weekend. Mabry Parker Herring was born Saturday (7/28) at 6:28pm PDT. She was 6 lbs., 10 oz., and 20” long. She and her mother are both sleeping while I’m taking night duty, and stealing a little computer time. There’s a photoset up on Flickr.

Actually, not much, but don't tell Miller. She thinks I'm Working Hard™.
She's not been very fussy at all, though her noises are enough to keep Miller up, so some amount of separation is still desirable.
Congratulations, dearest coz. Our army of Bene Gesserit witches grows stronger by the hour. Beware the Voice at age 2; mind the Weirding Way (age 3.5, by my best estimate). Expect teachers and fellow classmates to be, erm, enlisted.
